The ISIS Pixtools Haiku contest!



Haiku - a major form of Japanese verse, written in 17 syllables divided into 3 lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables, and employing highly evocative allusions and comparisons, often on the subject of nature or one of the seasons.  A typical American definition would be a non-rhyming verse of thoughts and feelings done in 5, 7, 5 syllables of statements expressed in three lines.

The contest will accept entries between now and the end of June 2009.
