Alex Almeida is a Senior Technical Marketing Manager. Alex has a passion for technology that started at an early age and has never stopped. Today, he finds himself immersed in backup. Alex lives,breathes and tweets backup. In fact, nothing short of fully understanding how things work will keep him from digging deeper. When Alex is not evangelizing on the benefits of backup or technology in general, he can be spotted at a New England Revolution game, behind the lens of a camera or listening to his favorite albums on vinyl.

Charlie Kraus is part of Product Marketing for EMC VPLEX.
Charlie is originally from New York City, went to college in the Boston area, and stuck around after graduation. Charlie's career has been in data storage and networking, mostly with start-up companies. He did an overseas stint in the South of France opening the EMEA headquarters for one of the start-ups.
On the more personal level Charlie likes to ski and golf and play drums. He joins in on casual Rock jam sessions, but does not play in a band. Charlie's expertise falls into several areas based on his start-up background - data networking, data storage, cloud and the associated product management, product marketing and business development activities.
Michael Jones is a Principal Product Manager for EMC’s Data Protection & Availability Systems (DPAD) Division, Michael Jones is responsible for developing and driving the Microsoft strategy and product direction for EMC’s data protection products. Michael has more than 17 years of product management experience in the data collection, data protection and storage industries and has over 14 years of experience working directly with Microsoft. Michael resides in Seattle Washington where he enjoys water sports, skiing and the general outdoors.
Mayank Vasa is a Product Manager with EMC’s Data Protection and Availability Division responsible for product definition of EMC data protection storage systems. Mayank has had more than 17 years of experience in the storage and availability business and focuses on multi-tenancy, archiving, and next-gen data protection solutions
