This document is meant to be a reference for how to use powershell scripts to monitor and visualize information within CSV files on a historical or a live basis. The document will walk through some examples of how to leverage scripts to monitor the output of other powershell scripts that I have created. This does not mean that the benefit would be limited to the CSVs generated by these scripts. The monitor_csv.ps1 script that we leverage in the examples can be used for any CSV formatted file.
I also use PowerGadgets to show how to visualize the data that is standardized by monitor_csv.ps1.
