How to get SPCollects via the Celerra from all attached CLARiiONS.

Product:

Celerra All

Problem:

How to get SPCollects via the Celerra Control Station from all attached CLARiiONS.

Resolution:

In the /nas/tools/  directory you will find a hidden script called .get_spcollect.

[nasadmin@ns20cs ~]$ls -al /nas/tools/.get_spcollect
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root root 8795 Feb  4  2010 /nas/tools/.get_spcollect

This is a hidden file so pay attention to the preceding dot.

This script will go out to every CLARiiON Service Processor configured with the Celerra and pull the latest SPCollects.  The benefit of using this script is that it takes all of the effort out of obtaining SPCollects by just running a single script.

An example of the .get_spcollects script run:

[nasadmin@ns20cs ~]$ /nas/tools/.get_spcollect
