ASync replicated File System / NFS Datastore (destination) goes offline on Dell EMC Unity Arrays.

This is a known issue with Dell EMC Unity 4.2.0 OE and above.

After transferring a small sized snapshot, a shrink will be started on the FS which will in turn change the size in its underlying LUN (VU). Then when transferring the next snapshot, if the common base snapshot has a log that exceeds the shrunken size, it will fail when validating IO due to exceeding the underlying LUN (VU) size,  and causing the FS to goes offline.

This issue is fixed in Dell EMC Unity 4.5 OE, but first the File System / NFS Datastore will need to be recovered by a member of the Recovery Team.
