Cause:

There is a firmware issue that causes the premature reporting and EOL of drives with the part numbers listed in this KB.

    Affected part numbers (TLA):
    005052155
    005052154
    005052379
    005052380
    005051740

    005052377
    005052378

Resolution:

Unity OE as well as Drive Firmware have been release to address premature wearing of the TLA drives listed above. The new drive firmware should be applied as soon as possible to prevent any additional premature wear reports. Please note that Unity 5.0.0 OE still will need to be applied to have the Days Remaining recalculated to reflect accurately.
