The RecoverPoint application states "maximum number of snaps has exceeded the number of snaps supported by the XtremIO array".
To check if the array has reached its volume limit, perform the following steps:
- Check the Release Notes for the version your array is on.If you don't know the version of the cluster, either run "show-clusters-info" in the CLI , or navigate to the Inventory -> Table View -> Clusters section (the version will be listed under "SW Version", or "SW-Version").
- In the Release Notes document, go to the "Scalability Numbers" section under "New Features and Changes." Look for the hardware model that matches your array, and take note of the Maximum Value number in the "Volumes and Snapshots" row.
- If it is suspected that the XMS is hung, or otherwise unreachable, perform the following steps to check and/or resolve:Test if you can login to the XMS. GUI or CLI is suitable, though if one doesn't work try using the other.If a session won't open, try pinging the XMS.
