Smarts NCM 9.4 : Job update and other system emails are not being sent to users; How do I change the SMTP server IP address and user sender fields in NCM?

Environment:

Smarts Network Configuration Manager

 

Description:

How do I make changes to the SMTP server settings in Smarts NCM 9.4?

 

Job update and other system emails are not being sent to users as wrong IP address configured for SMTP server.

 

 

Resolution:

The SMTP IP Address can be changed thus:

Open :

$VOYENCE_HOME/ncmcore/webapps/ncm-webapp/WEB-INF/classes/applicationContext.xml

Find the following line and change the IP address to your SMTP servers address:

  <prop key="mail.smtp.host">127.0.0.1</prop>
