With partners like EMC, they ensure that Ubuntu runs reliably on every platform from the PC and the smartphone to the server and, crucially, the cloud. EMC and Canonical have created a Reference Architecture solution using Ubuntu OpenStack, Juju and EMC Storage products such as VNX, XtremIO. This enables our joint Customers with the ability to build their OpenStack Cloud on Enterprise Class storage.
Mirantis focuses on the development and support of OpenStack, providing technology and support for clients to build and run open source cloud infrastructures. Together, EMC and Mirantis have developed the Mirantis OpenStack Reference Architecture showcasing how to utilize VNX, XtremIO, and ScaleIO with the Mirantis OpenStack distribution.

This solution is built on EMC VNX, EMC XtremIO, and EMC ScaleIO storage platforms managed by Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform 6. It allows customers to build an enterprise-class, scalable, and multitenant cloud infrastructure.
