Services Performance Management Scorecard Is Now Available!

In the continuing evolution to provide EMC Business Partners with a simple, predictable, and profitable way to deliver services, Global Services is introducing a partner performance scorecard. Our goal is to help you deliver stronger services performance by providing you with outcome orientated metrics that help increase sales, customer satisfaction, and simplify how you manage your EMC Services relationship. Services Partner Helpdesk Does More

We are always improving how we support you manage and grow your Services delivery capabilities. Check out some updates and changes coming from the Services Partner Helpdesk:


VCE Service Partner Inquiries– Starting Q4, the Services Partner Helpdesk will become your go-to group for VCE/Converged Platforms services program inquiries. At that time, all VCE-specific emails will be formally decommissioned.


Product Updates

VPLEX Support – Out-of-Radius Services partners will soon be able to deliver Support services for their customers. Training and certification requirements to provide Support services on VPLEX products will be found in the Partner Services Deployment Matrix.


VxRail Software Update - On June 10, 2016, EMC released a new software update VxRail 3.5. Learn more about this release, its benefits for customers, and what is required to upgrade.   

 

Mobile Build Server - The VxRail Mobile Build Server/Generation 2 (MBS2) is now available for Services Implement and Support Partners. MBS2 allows partners to easily upgrade customers with the 2nd generation of VxRail 3.0 to the latest software which adds powerful new capabilities. MBS2 also provides a convenient way to reset demo systems to their original factory settings. Download the MBS2 code and upgrade procedures today.

 

July Update to the Partner SolVe Engine

SolVe Engine Change Control is EMC’s process for reviewing/approving customer changes in advance of updates to the customers environment. SolVe Engine is available to EMC Implement and Support Partners for submitting activities for products that they support. Learn more about the new capabilities available in the July update here!

 

Support Partner Quoting in MyQuotes

Attention all Support Partners - make sure that you are properly configuring your orders in MyQuotes by following three easy steps:

  1. Choose Support option: Select “Partner Support Options”
  2. “EMC to Service” Flag: select “NO” from the drop down menu
  3. Master Services Agreement #: input the MSA# of the Partner providing the support services to the end user

The Support Partner Job Aid on the Partner Portal contains more detailed instructions on how to configure your orders.


Managing your Field Change Orders

We’ve made it easier for you to view and manage EMC Field Change Orders (FCOs)! FCOs will automatically be added to your SR dashboards when released. Once completed, you can also close the SR corresponding to the affected customer.
