The Services Partner Highlights is a quarterly summary of the information and changes you need to know! Released in the second month of every quarter, this update is designed to make your partnership even easier! As always, the Services Partner Helpdesk is there for you if you have any questions.


Life is Now Easier with Cases

It is now easier and faster to communicate with EMC with our move to Salesforce.com Cases!  This is your one stop to reach out to Partner Support Center (PSC), Partner Online Support, Services Partner Helpdesk, Education Services, and Product Registration & Install Base Maintenance. Be sure to read more below.

 

  • Services Partner Helpdesk: Starting on November 16, get your inquiry resolved faster as cases gets your questions into the right hands quicker than before. At this time the ServicesPartnerHelpdesk@emc.com email address will be decommissioned. Click here for more information as well as a detailed guide of how to submit requests.


  • Install Base: Use the “Product Registration and Install Base” case type to notify EMC of product installations, hardware or remote connection upgrades, or site changes.


  • Partner Online Support: Partner Online Support works with Partners to assist with access to the Partner Portal, Services Center Support, Knowledgebase access, and ESRS Credential verification. Please use the “Partner Online Support” Case type to open a case us.


  • Guidance Services: Guidance Services fulfill the skills verification requirement for Implement Services enablement by partnering your certified resources with EMC’s remote resources. We’ve simplified the process for ordering and coordinating Guidance Services. Familiarize yourself with the updated process here.


To gain access to Cases, please click your user type: Partner Central Users, Non Partner Central Users, or EMC Employees.


Services Partner Web Decommission
Service Partner Web has been decommissioned as of October 15. Content from this site can now be found at support.emc.com or on the Partner Portal. 


Change Control Automation is Now SolVe Engine
SolVe Engine is replacing the legacy tool, Change Control Automation. SolVe Engine is a single module replacing scenario and project modules. This results in reduced page changes providing a more streamlined workflow. For more information on the SolVe Engine tool click here.

VSPEX Blue is HERE!

VSPEX Blue is now available for Partner Delivery. All Implement and Support (Out Of Radius Partners Only) service requirements are available here.


Faster Online Support
Upgraded functionality on our Online Support site has vastly improved your ability to upload, download, and manage attachments when creating or updating your Service Requests online. For more information be sure to click here!
