This course is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to ECS (Elastic Cloud Storage). ECS solutions that can support various use cases are described, including: global content repository, geo-scale object storage with Anywhere Access and Big Data analytics. From this training, students will gain a high-level understanding of how ECS works, product architecture, configurations that are typically deployed, and product features that enable management of the ECS environment.



This course is intended for anyone who needs a high-level understanding of how ECS works, typical ECS deployment configurations and product features.


Prerequisite Knowledge/Skills

Familiarity with storage solutions in single and multi-site data center environments, including block, file, and object storage; and basic cloud concepts.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Diagram the ECS architecture, and explain its key core components and common deployment topologies
