Dell EMC OVCs are certified using the Oracle Validated Configurations Program. OVCs provide easier, faster, and lower-cost deployment of Oracle Linux and Oracle VM based Oracle Database solutions for customers. The program offers pre-tested, validated reference architectures - including software, hardware, storage, and network components - along with documented best practices that are certified by Oracle and published on Oracle's website.

 

Each of the OVCs will provides:

 

  • Hardware details of all the components directly tested with OVCs
  • Expanded list of compatible hardware
  • Software details of all the components directly tested with OVCs
  • Solution ID - for Dell Sales to quickly generate a quote or Bill of Materials
  • A published link to Oracle’s website that lists all the hardware and software details, including the configuration settings
