Running Hyper-V on SMB3.0 ODX Enabled VNX-File, Replicated to DR Site with ReplicatorV2 automated with System Center Orchestrator

 

So here a Brief description what I recorded in the Attached Video:

 

I Copy a DVD Image between two Virtual Datamovers with ODX from my Workstation Machine.

 

When Finished, i Install and configure a new Virtual Machine with Hyper-V 3.0,based on a syspreped VHDX.

The Virtual Machine will be Made Highly Available.

When Customizing of the VM Starts, i am going to Failover my Virtual Datamover on VNXa hosting the SMB3.0 Share to VNXc.

 

Both VNX Systems are connected with 100Mbit :-) and use Replicatorv2.

The Actual Switchover is Controlled by System Center Orchestrator Runbooks !
