VNXe3200 - The DPE has faulted because of SP fault

We have a VNXe3200 reporting a major issue, although everything seems to be working fine.  In addition to the message in the subject line of this post, I see one other related alert: "The system has experienced one or more major failures, which have significant impact on the system. You need to take immediate action. Check related alerts and fix the underlying problems."

How can I access more detailed logs in order to determine the cause of this issue.  I suspect a battery failure, as we've encountered that issue before, but I'm not sure how to confirm it.

We are running System Software version: 3.1.14.10199487, one of the earliest versions that no longer requires Adobe Flash support.

Thanks!

Yes, that is the right process for replacing the battery.

It appears that I can connect to the VNXe3200 using SSH, but I don't know what credentials to use.  I've tried the admin credentials used to sign into Unisphere, but those don't work.  What credentials are required for SSH access, and are there commands that I can use therein to get further information on the DPE fault?

It uses the service account. Here are the commands https://dell.to/3NZNmQJ

Thank you for your response.  Unfortunately, I don't see any option for generating diagnostic files in the installed version of Unisphere.

Is this option available in this version of Unisphere?  In the meantime, I'm looking into using the IPMITool to get more information on the DPE fault.

What does it show under the alerts tab?

Thank you.  How do I obtain the service account password?  The documentation states "apply for
the Service Account password".

the default password should be service. https://dell.to/3XDLvEp

Thank you.  I already tried that password -- no luck.  It seems that the version of Unisphere that I have is missing significant functionality.   It doesn't appear that I even have the option to place a storage processor in service mode, for example.  It appears that the IPMI tool is my best hope, so I'll start working on that option when I get on-site this afternoon.

I'll try this option also:

I've successfully connected to the VNXe3200 using both the CLI and SSH now.  Here are some relevant items.  It would appear that the CoinCell battery in SPB is failing.  I'm also a bit concerned about the dimms in SPA showing as "Unknown".

Is the correct procedure at this point to place SPB in service mode, pull it out and replace the CR2032 battery, reinsert it, and restart it?

From the EMCSystemFileFile.log accessed via SFTP:

From the output of svc_diag --state=spinfo via SSH:
