vnxe3100 spa primary damaged
Good day,
I have a vnxe3100 with a SPA and SPB, the SPA is the primary and its status is in service mode. I have tried all the procedures to change the status and it has not been successful. By conclusion it seems to have some damaged component.
How can I make the SPB become the primary and take all the configuration or services that the SPB has.

It should failover to SPB without needing to do anything, then replace SPA and failback. https://dell.to/3dQQu1V

Greetings Josh,
Yes, that is certainly what we are going to do, replace the SPA.
But meanwhile, I wanted the SPB to be the primary SP so as not to stop the operation and be able to continue working.

It did not failover to SPB, for this reason I am looking for help to know how I can do it by command or any other option. Taking into account that the SPA is in service mode.

What does it show for the state of the SP? You may need to put it in service mode or remove it so it tries to failover. https://dell.to/3AoENa5 If that doesn’t work you may need to call phone support so they can go through the logs with you.
