VNX5100: stuck in degraded mode. Trash?

Hello there,

I bought a DELL VNX5100 a while ago in used condition, hoping to learn about SANs and the DELL ecosystem.

Unfortunately, I managed to put the SP in degraded mode shortly after.

Since I am not the one that purchased it from DELL, I am not able to open a service request. (I think that's needed since no matter what I do it's locked in the degraded state.)

Is there a way to put the SP in normal mode without needing DELL support?

If I need the DELL support to handle this, is there a way to open a service request in my situation?
