Connecting a physical host to a VNX storage through SAN switch

I wanted to connect and configure a physical host to a VNX storage with the use of a SAN switch. Is there a step by step documentation I can use for the configuration of all of the devices? Or list of tasks I need to perform so as not to miss any steps?

You can probably find a procedure generator for VNX that explains the individual steps of attaching a host to VNX.  The fibre channel switches (Cisco, Brocade ..etc) will have their own instructions on how to create aliases, create zones, zones set ...etc..etc.
