ME4024 + S4048-ON (OS9): Disable spanning-tree on iSCSI ports or enable portfast?
We'll be deploying a ME4 storage array and a pair of S4048-ON (VLT) switches. The switches will be serving double duty - SAN iSCSI fabric, LAN traffic for clustered servers.
Should I disable spanning-tree on the iSCSI ports or enable portfast instead?

Hello,
For iSCSI type storage, from networking perspective, usually it is recommended to configure “spanning-tree rstp edge-port” as per S4048 configuration guide for iscsi, page 21.
