Precision 3660: 16TB SATA HDD?

I'm posting here instead of the Workstation area because in that area I could not get it to accept a "Topic"

We have a fairly new Precision 3660 tower purchased last year.   Any guess if it will likely work with a 16TB SATA drive from Seagate or WD?

The user guide lists 8TB "enterprise" SATA drive is supported.

I connected a 10TB Seagate to the 3660--one we have on hand for our DVR.  The HDD showed up in Disk Management and seemed ready for use.  I did not test it since it has video on it stored for archival purpose and would have required initialization in Windows 11.

Thanks

Yes, your Precision 3660 will support a 16TB SATA drive.  The system specifications provides maximum capacity of drives Dell had tested and validated and available for sale at purchase configurations.

You can upgrade SATA drives with any capacity available in the market today.
